LovEMU Giving Day is EMU’s biggest giving day of the year. It’s 24 hours full of giving challenges, storytelling, and unmatched generosity!

• Why should I give on April 10th (as opposed to another time)?

On LovEMU Giving Day, we have many challenges that your gift can help unlock. By giving on April 10th, you are stretching your dollar even further and joining a community of thousands from around the world in supporting EMU!

• Why should I give to EMU?

We could spend a very long time answering this question, but we’ll try to keep it short! Gifts to EMU directly support students in accessing an EMU education, investment in faculty and staff, improving campus facilities, and otherwise enhancing the student experience.

• How can I give?

You can give online via credit card at love.emu.edu, by calling 800-368-3383, written check or check by mail, gift-in-kinds, donor-advised gifts, IRA gifts or establishing recurring giving.

• You talk about the University Fund a lot. What is that?

The University Fund is our top fundraising priority. Money that goes to the University Fund can be used in a variety of ways, including supporting student access, faculty and staff investment, athletics, the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, and Eastern Mennonite Seminary. By giving to the University Fund, we are able to put money where it is most needed.

• Do I have to give to the University Fund on LovEMU Day?

No! Give wherever you want. Any gift given on LovEMU day contributes to our overarching goals.

• Will my gift be tax-deductible?

Yes, your gift is entirely tax deductible. You will receive an email confirmation that may serve as your receipt for tax purposes.
